The landscape of the Uccellina hills, part of the Maremma Regional Park, is also unmissable and within everyone’s reach. Walking in this area will allow you to enjoy extremely different environments (beaches, swamps, pastures, etc.), but above all to enrich yourself observing the ruins of the Abbey of S. Rabano, a watchtowers on the sea, and the prehistoric caves.
Among the simple paths near the sea you can also experience a walking in the Ombrone river area, through a 2 hours path.
Another route, but of medium difficulty, is the one that starts from Albarese (about 30 minutes drive from our farms) and arrives in San Rabano abbey. A path of almost 4 hours walk and 30 minutes through the pine woods, which will allow you to observe the Abbey of San Rabano and the Torre dell’Uccellina.
