The sea is an excellent ally when it comes to finding serenity and recharging your energy. Among the many activities that you can do in Maremma during the summer, one in particular will take you to discover and again deep knowledge of the sea: this is fishing tourism.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If it\u2019s the first time you hear about this you will love it! locals fischerman are ready to take you out for a fishing trip in the mediterranean sea, to discover sustainable fishing, shores of Tuscany and it\u2019s most hidden sea. The most ancient, notorious, and pioneer fisherman ready to take you out is Paolo il Pescatore, sailing out from Talamone harbor almost every day he will guide you in front of Parco della Maremma shores. The boat trip is a real fishing session loyal to ancient and environmentally correct techniques you will be instruited on local fish, weather like and the treats this shore goes trough. Be ready to weak up early, breakfast is served on board, because fish don\u2019t sleep! during the cruise you will head noth long the natural reserve coast, and you will learn of all the efforts this fisherman made in order to preserve the underwater natural life and fight against illegal fishing. You will also learn about the ancient history of this shore, from Saracens and beyond, you will see the Bella Marsilia Cave and the Clif Frontone, as well as one of Tuscany most hidden and wonderful beaches, Cala di Forno. Hawks and seagulls will fly over your heads and you might see their nests.<\/p>\n

when the sun is high in the sky you will start the fishing session, and learn all staps about it from dropping the nets, and collecting the ones dropped the night before, learn to distinguish fishes and sea seasons. What could you find? Rhombuses, salps, scorpion fish, sea bream, murmurs, sole, cuttlefish, sea bream depending on time, season, and luck\u2026<\/p>\n

For those who have chosen the cruise with lunch, be ready to eat the freshest fish ever. You will grill on board the catch of the day! But it\u2019s not all about hard work fisigh. Indeed you will stop to have baths and relaxing moments where none can reach out and it will be all for you.<\/p>\n

The tour is held in the morning and you will be back at the Talamone harbour around launch time. Booking is obligatory and the departure will always depend on weather forecast. This can be a very unique experience we highly reccomend.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After becoming true fishing experts you can dedicate yourself to absolute relaxa, enjoying the undisputed beauties of the Tuscan coast, sailing towards the pearls of the Tuscan Archipelago or visiting the islands in front of the Argentario. You can do it comfortably by going to Castiglione della Pescaia, which is just 20 minutes drive from our farmhouses<\/a>. There are services for one-day cruise and mini-excursions where you can visit the islands, enjoy the sea and savor a lunch overlooking our beautiful beaches.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]From Castiglione della Pescaia you can reach various islands for day trips out of town. One is certainly the magnificent island of Elba<\/a>. During the visit there are also some stops on the ground to let you discover the surroundings. Depending on your preferences, you can choose whether to be led by the tourist guides as an on board service, or to move individually on the island. During the day, smaller islands and some of the most famous coves of the Maremma will also be shown … and then a nice regenerating bath which, in these crystal waters, is a must![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Another day, another island! It is the turn of another pearl of the Tuscan archipelago: Montecristo. One of the most popular and sought-after destinations in the entire archipelago. An absolutely magnificent nature reserve and therefore included among the protected areas of the territory. A real dream in the middle of the sea, uncontaminated and wild, with a very rich biodiversity, which is carefully and strictly protected. Visiting Montecristo is a unique experience. You will be able to choose between two types of excursion (always and only accompanied by guides): a more demanding and impervious one (about 3 hours) includes the Monastery and the Grotta del Santo. A less demanding one that ends in a splendid panoramic point of Cala Santa Maria. If all this beauty were not enough, the trip ends with an unforgettable swim at the Scoglio d\u2019Africa island.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]From Castiglione della Pescaia there are also boat trips to some of the Argentario islands. A whole day to discover the island of Giglio, Giannutri, admiring the splendid coasts of Monte Argentario. Rich backdrops, crystalline seas and breathtaking views.
